Laurie began training on the island of Oahu in 1992. She was honored with being accepted into private tutoring under several very proficient and adept instructors. Then attended The Hawaiian Island School of Body Therapies. Years later came to Louisiana and graduated from the LA Institute of Massage in 2003. She continues her education taking a variety of courses in massage therapy.
She has a diverse work history in clinics with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Doctors, Luxury Spas, Chair Massage at Whole Foods, conventions, special events, offices, for the Film Industry, NFL & NBA players, Semi-Pro & Professional Golfers, Tennis players, Tri-Athletes in the Iron Man in Kona Hawaii, and a variety of other Sports Athletes. She has also built a private practice in several states by word of mouth.
Since early childhood she has been drawn to assist others in relieving pain and overall to improve the quality of life. Laurie cares & listens, striving to customize each massage session to address the client’s needs at the time, with the intention of creating a relaxing, therapeutic professional environment.
Having relocated to New Orleans in 2005, Laurie has developed a loyal clientele.
